The film will be about a mental warfare plan gone wrong
The highest paid actress in Hollywood and one of film's biggest stars is finally beginning to make her directorial debut to add to her long list of accomplishments.
Lawrence will direct the upcoming flick Project Delirium, a story that will detail mental warfare in the 60's, specifically regarding an acid experiment that had gone horribly wrong.
The directorial opportunity comes at the perfect time, as the film star has recently revealed that she has been dreaming of directing since she was a teenager.
"It's funny, I've wanted to direct since I was 16 and always thought I should start making steps towards that. If I had tried to do it earlier, I wouldn't have been ready. Now I actually feel ready."
Lawrence has been making waves recently, especially with her recently released film Hunger Games: Mockingjay: Part 2 and her to-be-released film co-directed and starring both her and the hilarious Amy Schumer.
She'll return to the big screen again shortly with her new film Joy.
It is unclear yet the details of when production of Project Delirium will start, but this type of film will be something new and different for Lawrence.
We can't wait to see what she has planned.
