The actor is now on board for the sequel of the highly successful 2014 original.
Oscar winning actor Jeff Bridges has signed on to appear in the sequel to Kingsmen. He joins the already announced lead man Taron Egerton, Julianne Moore and Halle Berry.
Bridges made the announcement on Twitter on Saturday, May 28, in similar fashion to his now co star Channing Tatum last month.

While it is confirmed both actors will be appearing in the movie it is not yet known what roles they will play. Music icon Elton John is also expected to have a role in the movie.
The sequel has been titled Kingsmen: The Golden Circle and will focus on Egerton's character, Eggsy, and Mark Strong as Merlin, heading across the pond to work with their US counterparts The Statesmen.
