Jedward are top of the singles pile while Boyzone have the best-selling album.
Having slipped to number two last week, Jedward have regained top spot on the Irish singles chart with ‘Ice Ice Baby’ (Sony).
They replace Boyzone’s ‘Gave It All’ (Polydor), which remains at a still lofty number 2.
The highest new entry at 13 is Tinie Tempah’s ‘Pass Out’ (Parlophone). The only other top 20 debutante this week is Train’s ‘Hey, Soul Sister’ (Columbia).
Boyzone’s disappointment at losing out to Jedward will have been tempered by Brother (Polydor) going straight in at number one on the Album Top 100. Which, of course, means that there’s a Louis Walsh managed act atop both charts.
The next highest new entries are Gorillaz’ Sunny Side Up (Parlophone) at number 4 and The Chieftains feat. Ry Cooder’s San Patricio (Concord) at number 14.
Disappointingly, there’s not much of a Choice Award-winning bounce for Adrian Crowley’s Season Of The Sparks (Chemikal Underground), which is at 87.
