The Coronas meanwhile remain Kings of the Indies
There’s no change at the top of the Irish Album chart with Eminem’s Recovery notching up another week at number one, and Arcade Fire’s The Suburbs still tucked in behind them at number two.
New entries are decidedly thin on the ground with eels’ Tomorrow Morning the highest at number nine, Klaxons’ Surfing The Void in at 39, and Adebisi Shank’s mightily impressive This Is The Second Album Of A Band Called Adebisi Shank debuting at a rather disappointing 53.
The Shank boys are also the highest new entry at number five on the Indie Chart, which is topped again by The Coronas’ Tony Was An Ex-Con. The survey also makes pleasant reading for Two Door Cinema Club whose Tourist History is up to number two and Villagers and Cathy Davey who show no signs of dropping out of the top 5.
