The new single 'How The Cookie Crumbles' features Iggy Pop ahead of the release of Hotei's new album expected to drop later this year. Hotei is set to play The Lexington in London on June 7.

This collaboration with Hotei is not Iggy Pop's only one of the year, with Pop stating earlier in the year that he was working on projects with an unnamed British band. He said that "I’m going to do some songs of my own and some very early Stooges that I haven’t done for a long time. That’s one thing, and then working on new music is another thing. I’m up to something, that’s all I can say"

This will be Pop's first venture into album compiling since the death of bandmate, drummer Scott Asheton in 2014 following their fifth album Ready to Die in 2013.
