Juan Thompson reveals what life was really like in Woody Creek
Team Hot Press is looking forward to getting its mitts on Stories I Tell Myself: Growing Up With Hunter S. Thompson, the new memoir from the Great Gonzo's son, Juan.
"He writes of the many dark, scary times; of how far they ricocheted away from each other, and how they found their way back together before it was too late," reads the promo blurb.
Born outside of San Francisco in 1964, Juan spent his formative years living on his dad's fortified compound in Woody Creek, Colorado where shooting, motorcycling, showing horses, raising sheep and launching model rockets were among the family's recreational pursuits.
A self-confessed computer nerd, he works in IT and hangs out at [link]facebook.com/JuanThompson2016BookRelease[/link] where you'll find some fascinating archive photos.
