Hozier, SOAK and Rainy Boy Sleep fly the flag this weekend
We wouldn’t go as far as jealous, but there’s definitely more than a few of Team HP who’d be pretty happy pitching up at Worthy Farm this weekend, as Glastonbury kicks into action.
Those making the trip to Michael Eavis’ place won’t be short of Irish company either – some of our finest acts will be doing their thing across the weekend. Hozier is, unsurprisingly, the main Irish draw; while we’re tucking into a roast, he’ll be doing his thing on the main stage at 1pm on Sunday.
A pair of northern starlets are also flying the flag; Rainy Boy Sleep plays in just a few hours time at the John Peel Stage, while SOAK will be something of a curtain raiser for Hozier’s performance – she hits the Other Stage on Sunday morning.
Thankfully, Auntie Beeb is providing a wagon-load of coverage – both live and highlights – so we’ll be able to keep tabs on our lot, as well as the current HP cover star Florence + The Machine, who headlines alongside Kanye and The Who.
