HMV.ie goes live tomorrow, Wednesday November 6, at 3pm.
The great HMV revival continues apace today, as the next phase of their digital endeavours is announced.
Following the launch of last month's music store and app, the entertainment retailer's new, fully transactional Irish website will be available for use from tomorrow.
Compatible with smartphones, products will be added to [link]hmv.ie[/link] on a daily basis to build a stock that matches their high street stores.
Pre-orders on DVDs and games will be available, and delivery options for purchases include 'to your door' (with express, next-day options) or simply picking up your items from any HMV or Xtravision store. There is free home delivery for purchases of €50 or more.
A Northern Irish website, [link]hmvireland.co.uk[/link], will follow shortly.

Speaking to Hot Press recently, James Coughlan, the new MD for HMV Digital, mapped out his vision for the company:
"We've got to go right back to the board. We've got to identify exactly what it is that HMV stands for as a retailer, and how we then translate that retail experience into a digital form. On the agenda for me is to be utilising the great work the retail staff do and then bring a digital experience into that."
