Glastonbury sells out in record time
Many punters were left aggrieved as booking systems crash...
Proof positive that the lure of Glastonbury is as strong if not stronger than its (still yet to be announced, remember) headline acts came yesterday morning after just one hour and 27 minutes as all tickets for the 2014 festival sold out.
Many hopefuls were frustrated as the See Tickets website crashed and took to Twitter to vent. Organiser Emily Eavis apologised to those who missed out while offering thanks to those who will pitch up at Worthy Farm next year. Meanwhile, betting has been suspended on Fleetwood Mac as potential headliners.
