Gavin James heads Stateside on February 19 for the US-Ireland Alliance's annual Oscar Wilde Awards, which take place in JJ Abrams' Bad Robot studios in Santa Monica.
Joining him is Megan O'Neill, the Kildare songstress whose 'Don't You' song featured before Christmas in the hit ABC TV show, Nashville.
A UCD Choral Scholar, she moved to the Music City in 2012 and has co-written with such legendary names as Marc Beeson, Billy Austin, John Edwards, Brian Maher, Erik Halbig, Bruce Bouton and Mark Narmore.
Managed by the same people who look after Heathers, Milestone, she recently recorded three tracks with longtime Kodaline collaborator, Philip Magee, which have less of a mainstream country feel.
MC-ed by Abrams, the first of this year's confirmed Irish honourees is painter Colin Davidson.
