All chat, all the time...
The sun is splitting the stones at Kilmainham as Warpaint prepare to rock the Original Stage.
Inside the Hot Press Speakeasy we've had turns from Daithi, Little Dragon, Erol Alkan and more. Comedy supremo Andrew Stanley kicked things off with tales of travelling around the world and making 'em laugh (and, sometimes, cry) along the way.
Discussing music on TV, Little Dragon revealed that they're none too fond of The Voice, proffering that it's more of a hindrance than a help to budding musicians. They also downplayed the importance of having their music appear on Grey's Anatomy. Ice cool, that Little Dragon lot...
Galway-based synth sensation Daithi was in great form despite just making it back from Primavera in time for his set. With another festival on the cards this evening, he found the time to sit down with Dave Hanratty, talking new album In Flight (which drops next Friday June 6) and why it took him three years to finally be happy with it. He also waxed lyrical on Scandinavian TV shows, Twitter and Daft Punk's Random Access Memories. Spoiler: Like our man Dave, he's not a fan.

London DJ Erol Alkan stopped by to discuss his early days behind the decks and how he went from humble beginnings to being named as 'DJ of the Year' by Mixmag. We also welcomed local heroes Sounds of System Breakdown and reminisced on keyboardist Richy's former time in Hot Press. We still miss him, but he's doing the make-up for Vikings these days, so you know he's a talent. There was also time for a drinking contest with a fan, who lost. Poor fella.
Stay tuned to HP.com in the coming days for full video interviews from the weekend.
