Dave Grohl & Co. were due in the French capital on Monday
In a move redolent of what happened post-9/11, Foo Fighters have pulled the remaining dates on their European tour following last night’s terrorist attacks in Paris.
It was due to continue tonight in Turin, take in Paris on Monday once U2 had vacated the venue and then head to Barcelona.
“It is with profound sadness and heartfelt concern for everyone in Paris that we have been forced to announce the cancellation of the rest of our tour,” reads a band statement. “In light of this senseless violence, the closing of borders, and international mourning, we can't continue right now. There is no other way to say it. This is crazy and it sucks. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who was hurt or who lost a loved one.”
