Organisers have announced their line-up for its 2018 run, promising audiences an incredible and innovative range of theatre.

Foil Arms & Hog return to Fringe with their show Craicling . The Dublin comedians have been performing in the theatre festival ever year since 2012, packing out audiences and raking up stellar reviews.

The Dreamgun Film Reads - which features a hilarious ensemble transform various film classics into an unrehearsed and tangled comedic extravaganza. From Harry Potter to Titanic, the cast will tackle a different film every evening, raging cinema lovers for the delight of avid theatre fans.

Lovers of dance will enjoy Assisted Solo where three incredible performers depict a tale of growing older, challenging societal views on the effects of age on the body. Alternatively Caged promises to unleash a manic and energized mash-up of dance with spoken word and acrobatics. The ensemble known as Femme Bizarre, have promised not just a fierce performance, but a "ferocious" one.

On a more serious note, Fringe fest allows artists the space to talk about the issues which plague our society. beat explores arguments on drugs and the treatment of women. White challenges the topic of white supremacy. Unwoman Part III highlights the conversation of what it means to be a woman, particularly a post-menopausal woman, in the modern world. Mental health gets explored through Una McKevitt's and PJ Gallagher's Madhouse , an examination of the attitudes held toward schizophrenia.

The Dublin Fringe Festival has allowed many artists, both Irish and international, to showcase their talents. Drawing in over 30,000 people every year across its two-week run, the festival ensures that the art of performance is kept alive and an important staple in Irish contemporary culture.

In previous years, it's welcomed incredible acts from all over the world, including Drag Race winner Jinkx Monsoon, Australian powerhouses Hot Brown Honey and the international phenomenon Riot .

This year is no different. With countless must-see shows to explore, theatre lovers will be spoiled for choice with a line-up that is thoroughly diverse and captivating.

The festival will take place from September 8th to the 23rd.
