Floyd Soul And The Wolf are the most recent winners of The JD Set, beating out five other acts to take home the title of Waterford's best.
Judges Jackie Hayden of Hot Press and Beat 102 103's Rob O'Connor gave the group the green light last week to the contest's final round, which will be held in Crawdaddy at the end of April.
Meanwhile, Touchwood, The 83's, Flying Columns, Valentine Black and The Hot Sprockets have been eliminated from the competition.
Floyd Soul And The Wolf are the third act to make it to the final round, following The Chapman Society's win in Crawdaddy and The People's victory in Cork. The three wait for the winners of Limerick's battle on March 19 and 20 and Galway's on the 26 and 27.
