Fleetwood Mac for Glastonbury?

Festival organisers have hinted that the legendary band might headline...

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 17 Oct 2012

Following on from news that Fleetwood Mac will reunite to tour in 2013, the rumour mill is in overdrive that the band might perform at next year's Glastonbury.

Organiser Emily Eavis told NME: "I think Fleetwood Mac would be amazing to get. We haven't had any conversations with them yet but, you know, it is still early days.

"We're just talking to some headliners now. For us it's about getting the balance of heritage bands, legends and new bands - just keeping that balance."

Tickets went on sale for Glastonbury earlier this month, and sold out in a record one hour, 40 minutes. Also rumoured to be performing are The Rolling Stones, though again, no formal announcement has been made.
