An oversight from Farage and co. sees indie label swoop in...for a time
When the UKIP website went down this morning - apparently as a result of an expired subscription - UKIP were a little sluggish in fixing the problem, opening the door for Alcopop! Records to jump in and grab the domain name UKIP.org.
The indie label - whose roster includes our very own Fight Like Apes (pictured) - were quick off the mark, hitting up internet giants GoDaddy to take the address off their hands for the princely sum of £200.

Alas, it was not to be - because the address remained registered with former UKIP chairman John Whittaker, it was swiftly returned to the political party. And no wonder they'd have been so terribly eager to get it back; among FLApes labelmates at the record company? A certain Johnny Foreigner...
