Total Pop! Tour comes to Cork and Dublin
English synthpop legends Erasure have announced details of two Irish dates, their first in four years on these shores, as well as a new album this summer.
The duo, known more formerly as Vince Clarke and Andy Bell, bring their brilliantly titled Total Pop! Tour (the exclamation point is very important) to the Olympia Theatre on June 13 and the Marquee Live Festival on June 15. As well as this, the band are releasing a new album this summer and are taking the live show on a Forest tour throughout the UK also (meaning playing only forest and woodland venues).
Fans can expect a run-through of the band's two-decades of hits including 'A Little Respect', 'Sometimes' and 'Always', which inexplicably saw a rise in popularity last year after being the soundtrack to online video game Robot Unicorn Attack.
