The legendary Italian composer is to make his Irish debut at the ripe old age of 84. Courtesy of POD Concerts, he’s appearing on July 28 in the Irish Museum of Modern Art, Kilmainham with his 97-piece orchestra and a 100-strong choir.

The five-time Oscar winner has scored several hundred films including For A Few Dollars More, The Good The Bad And The Ugly, The Untouchables, The Mission, Cinema Paradiso and more recently Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill and Django Unchained.
His influence has been huge with Massive Attack, Moby, Thurston Moore, Motörhead, John Zorn, Mike Patton, The Orb, Jay-Z, Morrissey and The Prodigy all singing ‘n’ sampling his praises.
