'Indian Summer' is taken from the Wicklow band's forthcoming release...
Wicklow rockers Enemies have unveiled the video for new track 'Indian Summer'. It's taken from the band's forthcoming as-yet-untitled sophomore album, out next spring.
The video, made by Tiny Ark - [link]www.tinyark.com[link] - sees the four-piece engage in a very fun-looking paintball fight. Although the grown-up in us wonders - 'Will those whites ever be white again?'
Possibly not, is the answer, according to guitarist Lewis Jackson, who talks about the vid and album in next week's issue of Hot Press; “It took me six showers and lots of exfoliation products that I robbed off my sister to get rid of it all," he tells us. "An absolute nightmare, but totally worth it!”
The new album sees the former instrumental act incorporate vocals into their tunes. A nerve-wracking step?

“I’m not going to lie, we were definitely somewhat nervous about incorporating vocals for the first time", reveals Jackson, "but in terms of the ‘difficult second album’ thing? It’s actually been pretty easy, so far at least. We put a lot of pressure on ourselves but you end up sitting back and forcing yourself to chill out and just write the songs as they come. In that respect, not much has changed from a writing point of view.
