Elvis' haircut costs €9,000!
A piece of hair claimed to have been cut from Elvis Presley when he joined the US Army in 1958 has been sold for €9,000 in Chicago.
The hair was one of 200 Elvis-related pieces in the auction, including scarves stained with Elvis’ very own sweat, some of his bathrobes and records.
A shirt Elvis owned sold for €32,000. A set of concert-used handkerchiefs went for €450 and photos from the King’s 1967 marriage to Priscilla earned €3,500.

The collection of items auctioned had been part of the estate of the late Gary Pepper, a friend of Elvis, who passed away in 1980.
