The 3Arena is being visited in June 2019 as part of the Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour.
At a tech-infused event last night in New York, Elton John announced that he's planning a 300+ date 2018-2020 world tour, and then retiring from live performance to spend more time with his husband and kids.
Dublin gets in on the act on June 12, 2019 when he brings the extravaganza to Dublin's 3Arena. Tickets go on sale Friday 9 February at 9am from www.eltonjohn.com and all usual Ticketmaster outlets
“It’s time to come off the road so I can fully embrace the next important chapter of my life,” Elton says. “Performing live fuels me and I’m ecstatic and humbled to continue to play to audiences across the globe. I plan to bring the passion and creativity that has entertained my fans for decades to my final tour. After the tour finishes, I’m very much looking forward to closing off that chapter of my life by saying farewell to life on the road. I need to dedicate more time to raising my children.”
