Tandem Felix, Eatenbybears, The Depravations and Leaders Of Men will fight it out for an Electric Picnic spot at the Heineken Music and POD’s Pick for the Picnic at Crawdaddy on September 1.
The four acts will pull out all the stops to wow the crowd and book that coveted shot at mega-festival glory. The winner-takes-all prize is the honour of opening the Crawdaddy stage at the Stradbally festival.
Last year’s winners Cloud Castle have made waves on the music scene and are in the midst of recording their debut LP.
From this year’s contingent, Galway four-piece Eatenbybears aim to stake their claim with singles like ‘Vanderhoof’ which have already had airplay on BBC Radio and got the thumbs up from the likes of And So I Watch You From Afar and Glasvegas.

Fellow Galway hopefuls The Depravations are currently recording their debut album and hope their blend of ‘60s surf rock and ‘90s dance music will propel them over the line.
Tallaght five-piece Leaders Of Men released their debut EP in late August and have already rocked Tripod and The Workman’s Club, while fellow Dub alt rockers Tandem Felix have been getting praise for their confident songwriting.
