Matthew E White, RSAG, Last Days Of 1984 and Overhead, The Albatross will all play the Body & Soul village.
Electric Picnic '13 runs from August 30 to September 1 and, for the tenth year on the trot, one of the main attractions at the Stradbally event is set to be the Body & Soul Village.
The list of artists set to play the area has just been announced and it's as eclectic and intriguing a mix as ever.
Alongside a roll call of risng Irish artists like Daithi, Swords and Overhead, The Albatross, one name that jumps out is Matthew E White. Already announced for the main bill, the lauded Virginian soul man will perform a second, extremely intimate show down Body & Soul way.
There will also be a new stage curated by Block T for emerging theatre, performance art and fresh sounds; the Bog Cottage’s Seaweed Baths and Steamy Sauna, the Little Beat Retreat, along with a customdesigned Radioshack, curated by Aidan Kelly - housing some of Ireland’s finest DJs, and live graffiti artists.
