The rum company picked it up for the Bacardi Get Together Arena at this year's Electric Picnic.
On November 15 in London's Roundhouse, major players from the festival industry gathered to dish out deserving accolades at this year's UK Festival Awards.
Rum maistros Bacardi were amongst the winners on the night, picking up the gong for Brand Activation, which celebrates the best in creative sponsor activites in Ireland and the UK.
Bacardi's 'Get Together Arena' at the Picnic was the reason for the win. The area was a massive hit with punters at Stradbally, offering up dancefloor tunes over the three days and playing host to such DJ talent as Mylo, Alex Metric, Arveeen & MMisk, Frankie Bingo, Disco Bloodbath and Retro-Grade.
The 'Get Together Arena' brought a Caribbean feel to the September bash, with cabana-inspired bars and a replica palm tree! It also incorporating plenty of innovative social networking features. HP can confirm a good time was definitly had by all!

"We are delighted with Bacardi Ireland’s Award at the Festival Awards We created a destination venue at Electric Picnic that festival goers wanted to spend all weekend at. The BACARDÍ experience was an authentic idea stemming directly from BACARDÍ rum’s heritage, which helped deliver against a genuine consumer need. In production terms it certainly attracted everyone’s attention, requiring more trucks and a longer build than the main stages!"
