Both his new singles show no sign of coming down from the top of the charts, even in their seventh week.
Ed Sheeran hasn't even dropped his new album yet, but his two singles, "Shape of You" and "Castle on the Hill" are at number one and number two on the Irish charts again this week, with no sign of backing down anytime soon. He's even got another single, "How Would You Feel (Paean)" a love song released to celebrate his 26th birthday, clocking in at number five in its first week.
Another newcomer to the top five is "It Ain't Me," by Kygo and Selena Gomez, hitting number four its first week. The Fifty Shades Darker single, "I Don't Wanna Live Forever," by ZAYN and Taylor Swift, has dropped from number four to number six, and another chart-topper, "Paris" by the Chainsmokers, has gone from number five to number seven.
If you're getting a little tired of the studio version, here's Sheeran playing "Shape of You" on BBC's Live Lounge earlier this week, and if you haven't heard it yet, here's the new one, "How Would You Feel (Paean)" Check back next week to see what will happen next Friday, when Sheeran's new album ÷ (divide) finally drops.
