The L.A. native also shared two new instrumental tunes on Soundcloud.
Earl Sweatshirt has been a little quiet since he released his 2015 album, entitled I Don’t Like Shit, I Don’t Go Outside. "Lets get reacquainted," Earl wrote to his fans on twitter.
A month ago, the mysterious track, entitled 'Mirror', surfaced online for a brief time but was quickly removed. However, fear not, he's back with an Earl gem, entitled 'Wind In My Sails'. Using an Otis Redding sample, Earl's trademark laid-back, effortless delivery is in full force.
"A lot of father figures following trends, i ain't involved with em'," raps Earl, who's still confronting his own personal demons involving his absent dad.
The previously exiled young rapper also dropped two new instrumental tracks, entitled 'SKRT SKRT' and 'Bary', the latter using a sample from Kanye West's 'Barry Bonds'.
Listen to Earl Sweatshirt's 'Wind In My Sails', 'SKRT SKRT' and 'Bary' below.
