He will put on five nights in Belfast.
Multimedia sort of a guy that he is, Duke Special has been asked to curate a series of In The Court Of… nights as part of Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival.
They’re all taking place in the Metropolitan Arts Centre (the MAC), a new venue comprising of 120 and 350-seater theatres, three art galleries, a rehearsal space, dance studio, three education and workshop rooms, four offices for resident art groups, a café and bar, artist-in-residence studio and a permanent artwork display.
The attractions include:
September 4 – DJ78 and Three Bonzos & A Piano
September 5 – The Blockheads
September 6 – The Futureheads A Cappella & Acoustic
September 7 – Wine Tasting with Marek and Cathy Davey’s Songs That Scare Children (But In A Very Beautiful Way)
September 8 – Johanna Billing’s You Don’t Love Me Yet
