Dropkick Murphys announce Cork Live At The Marquee date
They're doing their full-blooded Celtic punk thing next June
Following numerous sellout gigs in Vicar St., many of them St. Patrick’s Day related, Dropkick Murphys play a massive Cork Live At The Marquee show on June 7, 2016 which is their only Irish date of the summer.
Forming in 1996 with the aim of being “the AC/DC of Celtic punk rock”, the Bostonians have a massive following and did their city proud in 2013 when their Bruce Springsteen-assisted Rose Tattoo: For Boston charity EP and t-shirt raised over $100,000 for victims of the marathon bombing.
Tickets priced €40 go on sale on Friday November 26.
