Views rapper challenges Joe Budden to step up beef to epic proportions
Are there enough dissable things about Drake to make up 25 tracks?
Well, we're about to find out!
Slaughterhouse rapper and underground favorite Joe Budden has been releasing Drake diss after Drake diss lately, and he promised on a recent podcast he had twenty more on the way.
Drake seems to have been intrigued by the pledge and DM'd Budden, telling the rapper that he would give him $10,000 if he could release 25 diss tracks before August 4.
Budden replied, "LOL, maybe not 25, but I bet you I could get close to 20".
He described Drake's messages as "very passive aggressive" and "sound[ing] like a man who was very hurt and just didn't want to talk or hear from Joe".
Drake began the conversation by formally inviting Budden "to one of my four Madison Square Garden shows".
Their beef began when Budden called Drake's Views "real fuckin' uninspired" earlier this year; Drake then seemed to take a shot at Budden on French Montana's track 'No Shopping'.
The Toronto rapper seemed to reference Budden's track 'Pump it Up', rapping, "Pump, pump, pump it up/She got a good head on her, but I pump it up/I'm not a one hit wonder, they know all my stuff/You let me turn into the nigga that you almost was".
In an interview with MTV News, Montana said he did not think the lines were aimed at Budden.
Thus far, Budden has made four diss tracks aimed at Drake. Listen to one of them - 'Wake' - below.
