Grouse Lodge Studios will host the creation of the new William Orbit-produced Doves album
Doves are to work on the follow-up to their multi-platinum The Last Broadcast album at Grouse Lodge Studios in Rosemount, County Westmeath.
The sessions are being presided over by William Orbit, the A-list producer whose recent credits include Beth Orton and Madonna.
It's another coup for Grouse Lodge supremo Paddy Dunning who opened the residential studio last year.
"It couldn't be going better," he enthuses. "We've got William and Doves coming for a fortnight; Hope Of The States are in at the moment for five weeks; Eleanor Shanley's here as well; and we've just done Paddy Casey, Hothouse Flowers and Ronan Keating."
Grouse Lodge recently scored their first UK number one courtesy of Muse's Absolution album.

"That's really put us on the map in terms of attracting big international acts," says Dunning.
To celebrate their first birthday, Grouse Lodge are offering a special €450 a day deal to Irish bands. Availing acts will automatically be entered into a competition which carries a first prize of free recording time, airplay on Midlands Radio, a gig in the Temple Bar Music Centre and expert A&R advice.
