Felix Da Housecat, Erol Alkan and David Kitt are among the artists confirmed for the opening week of Waterford's new club and venue, Ten
There’s good news for Waterford music lovers with the opening this week of Ten.
Occupying the same John Street site as the former Pulpit bar and Preachers nightclub, July 30’s official launch party features the combined DJ talents of Cyril Briscoe, Arveene, Ray Colclough and Gavin Boyce.
The first of their monthly Resistance dance parties takes place on August 13 with Felix Da Housecat sharing dancefloor duties with Erol Alkan and Niall Power.

As you’d expect from a gaff that’s managed by former Mean Fiddler lynchpin Mick O’Keefe, there’s plenty of live music with The Wailers (August 12) and David Kitt, Alphastates and Donal Dineen (20) among the first batch of visitors.
Talking of Kittser, we understand that work on his covers album is gathering apace with an autumn release date likely.
