Sigur Ros & David Byrne support Tsunami benefit
Their music will feature in new Japanese anime films, which will raise money and awareness for the cause...
Icelandic post-rockers Sigur Ros have joined ranks with longtime collaborators Ryuichi Sakamoto and David Byrne, in their support of the benefit appeal for child victims of the 2011 earthquake and subsequent tsunami in Japan.
Both acts have allowed their music to feature in new Japanese anime films, as they battle to raise money and awareness for the cause.
Tracks include 'Hoppipolla' from Sigur Ros' 2005 fourth full-length studio album and the psych-pop 'Psychedelic Afternoon' by the Byrne/Sakamoto team.
