Conor J. O'Brien among those performing at Proms Bowie Tribute
He's joining the likes of Marc Almond, John Cale & Amanda Palmer in the Royal Albert Hall
Conor J. O’Brien is taking part in the all-star tribute to David Bowie, which is taking place in the Royal Albert Hall, London on July 29 as part of the BBC Proms 2016.
The Villager-in-chief will be sharing the stage with Marc Almond, John Cale, Anna Calvi, Laura Mvula who’s interviewed in the current issue of Hot Press, Amanda Palmer, Paul Buchanan of The Blue Nile, counter-tenor Philippe Jaroussky, conductor André de Ridder and lots of other classical types.
It promises to be a moving and musically sumptuous affair.
