If the industry grapevine is correct, an A-list line-up is gathering to honour the legendary artist.
Speculation is rife about who'll be performing during the David Bowie tribute section, planned for the BRIT Awards 2016, which take place in February.
U2 frontman Bono, Oasis hero turned solo star Noel Gallagher, and Blur singer Damon Albarn are all rumoured to be set to perform – whether separately or together – at the Brits homage to the late singer.
David Bowie passed away, aged 69, last week. The outpouring of adoration and of love for the musical icon since his death has been extraordinary – and will be further highlighted in a major tribute in the upcoming issue of Hot Press, which hits the streets on Thursday, January 21.
It is fitting, therefore, that the Thin White Duke's genius, and his utterly unique contribution to modern music, are being celebrated at this year's BRITs.
