David Gray showcasing music favourites on RTÉ 2FM

The singer/songwriter will be the next guest on the popular Celebrity Sunday programme

On Sunday 21st March and Sunday 28th March, David Gray will be on the air from 5:00-7:00pm, playing songs of his own choosing.

Celebrity Sunday is a new program from RTÉ 2fm where well-known music lovers share their personal favorites with listeners for two hours for two Sundays.

The previous guest disc jockey was Westlife’s Nicky Byrne, and his radio spot became the third most popular trending topic on the social networking site, Twitter.

More big names are set to appear on the show over the next few months.

It’s been a long, hot, muggy day, but Galway’s weather still won’t piss or get off the pot. On the plus side, the evening skies over the Fisheries Field are appropriately shaded for the musical night ahead (sorry, but it’s an unbreakable rule of music journalism that every David Gray live review must contain at least one pun on his surname).
