The singer will make an appearance in their Henry Street location this Saturday.
Since reopening last autumn, HMV's Henry Street outlet has played host to a plethora of fine musical acts, kicking off with Cavan teens The Strypes and continuing on to the likes of John Newman, Biffy Clyro and Cathy Davey.
Another big name to add to that list this week, as local hero Damien Dempsey gears up to play the first in-store of 2014 this Saturday (February 15).
The gig is to mark the Valentine's Day release of Dempsey's new compilation, It's All Good – The Best Of Damien Dempsey, which gathers together some of his most beloved tunes from a 15 year, six album career to date. It also features two brand new tracks, in the form of single 'Happy Days' and St. Patrick's Brave Brigade'.
