The Heineken Green Spheres gig, featuring Crystal Castles, which was due to take place next Tuesday, September 30, has been moved to the following Thursday.
Crystal Castles were due to play the Heineken Green Spheres gig on Sept 30, but the show has now been moved to Thursday October 2 in Cuba, Galway.
A statement from Heineken said that the switch was "due to unforeseen circumstances."
Coming just a month after the band's electrifying performance at Electric Picnic –"It's all terrifically exciting and amply illustrates why Crystal Castles are one of the buzz bands of 2008," Paul Nolan commented in Hot Press – the intimate gig will give fans a chance to experience the raucous energy of one of the hottest bands in the world right now in full close-up.
Renowned for their amazing remixes of Bloc Party and Klaxons (who happen to be best pals with the Canadian duo), Crystal Castles will perform a selection of tunes from their self-titled debut album. The band were first signed after posting experimental early tracks on MySpace that record label bosses heard through word-of-mouth.
