Elsewhere, a U2 classic earns the band a Song Award
The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers held their 30th annual ASCAP awards ceremony in London last week, with Coldplay being the big winners.
Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland, Will Champion and Chris Martin were named Songwriters of the Year and also received Song Of The Year for 'Viva La Vida'. The group accepted the award via a video message from inside the studio, where they are currently working on their fifth album with Brian Eno.
There were performances on the night from Imogen Heap and legendary songwriter Roger Greenaway.

U2 also managed to bag themselves a trophy. They picked up one of twenty Song Awards for their 1987 single 'I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For'. It's probably a little overdue.
