Chris Martin and co remain imperious at the top for the third week in a row.
Hopes must have been high in the Sam Smith camp that this would be the week his In The Lonely Hour debut toppled Coldplay's sixth LP, Ghost Stories, off the top of the Irish Album Chart. The London singer did the business over on the Singles Chart, with his 'Stay With Me' track holding on to pole position.
The 'Fix You' stadium rockers are proving immovable, however, in the album sales stakes – they remain at the summit.
Sam Smith will certainly make do with second place for the second week. Imelda May proves resilient – her Tribal bounces back up a spot and into third.
Paolo Nutini's Caustic Love and One Direction's Midnight Memories are No. 4 and No. 5, respectively.
Keeping the Irish end up elsewhere in the Top 10, Mick Flannery's By The Rule stays firmly in sixth, and Kodaline's In A Perfect World climbs three spots to No. 7.
There are two new entries in the Top 10 – a re-issue of Led Zeppelin at No. 8 and Clean Bandit's New Eyes at No. 9.
