The former spaceman wrote the record during his five months on the ISS.
He became an internet sensation when he covered David Bowie's 'Space Oddity' while working on the International Space Station two years back and now Dr. Chris Hadfield plans to release a record of his own. The former Candadian astronaut, author and song-and-dance-man wrote the songs which will appear on his album during his time in space. Ron Sexsmith, Barenaked Ladies, Buck 65, Matthew Good and Meaghan Smith are among the musicians contributing. It lands this autumn.
In a Hot Press interview last year, Hadfield spoke about his love for his adopted country Ireland, attempted to answer the eternal question – "Is there life out there?" – and discussed the importance of emailing David Bowie.
