Thursday November 7 is the deadline for those wanting to be part of the exciting Budweiser Future Sounds of Irish Music initiative.
Ten unsigned homegrown acts will get to record in a purpose-built Dublin studio with Rob Kirwan whose production and engineering CV includes Bell X1, Editors, PJ Harvey, Orbital, 30 Seconds To Mars, U2 and Delorentos who he’s currently working with. The cache of prizes also includes a Hot Press interview, Phantom 105.2 coverage and a photo-shoot.
“We’ve seen an incredible amount of talent register so far and we’re so excited about all of the great music that's going to be created in our studio down on Georges Street,” enthuses Budweiser’s Karen McMenamy. “We've received a few enquiries from entrants around the terms and conditions so we wanted to clarify that the ten selected music artists own all intellectual property rights in their songs produced at the Future Sounds Recording Studio.
"Budweiser will only retain the right to use segments of the songs and other content produced during the Future Sounds of Irish Music project to create videos that will be hosted on the Budweiser Ireland Facebook page and the Budweiser Ireland YouTube channel," she concludes.
