With Bryan Cranston on board, Power Rangers you have our full attention.
The Breaking Bad actor is making his long-awaited return to the Power Rangers universe. 'Long-awaited return?' you say! Yes, that's right.
For those of you who aren't Cranston trivia masters, he voiced several of episodes for the '90s series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Speaking to IGN back in 2009, Cranston revealed these humble beginnings; "One of my jobs as a young actor starting out was voice-over. One of the places that did a lot of that was Saban Entertainment. And they would take movies and then cartoons from all over the world and we’d go and do the English dub. And the Power Rangers came in, and I did some voices for that … And it paid like $50.00 an hour, which was fantastic. And you’d work two, three hours at least a day.” Money talks people!
This time around however, Cranston will play the voice of Power Ranger reason, Zordon.
Excited to play #Zordon in the #PowerRangersMovie! T or F: #BlueRanger Billy Cranston was named after what actor? https://t.co/d3ltjpcDKb

Reboots can be dodgy film territory and we thought none more so than a Power Rangers revival but admittedly we completely underestimated the abilities of the Power Rangers casting agency. Cranston joins Elizabeth Banks on the cast who will play the villainous Rita Repulsa. The Power Rangers are as follows; Becky G (Trini/Yellow Ranger), Naomi Scott (Kimberly/Pink Ranger), Ludi Lin (Zack/Black Ranger), RJ Cyler (Billy/Blue Ranger), and Dacre Montgomery (Jason/Red Ranger). X-Men: First Class screenwriters Zack Stentz and Ashley Miller undertook the challenge of penning the Power Rangers script.

With the original cast member of Bryan Crantson on board, Power Rangers is shaping up to a lot more than what we expected it to be. Now, we wait!
