After sell out performances at Oxegen, Whelan’s and @The Park, the Mullingar man will kick off an all-Ireland tour on September 23.
The former Blizzards frontman’s debut solo single ‘Can’t Stay Young (Forever)’ has been a summer hit and the first hint of what to expect from his solo album. The album’s second single ‘Good Intentions’ is out on September 9.
Since relocating to London, Bressie has been on the up and up, with media mogul Simon Fuller’s 19 Entertainment acquiring his services. But Ireland hasn’t been taken out of the man.
“I don’t know whether it’s a subconscious pining for home, but even though I put together my band in London most of them are Irish,” Bressie laughs.
