Freetown Sound now available across multiple platforms
Following up 2013’s Cupid Deluxe, Dev Hynes released Freetown Sound today, three days ahead of the album’s scheduled release date.
With his third album under the Blood Orange moniker, Hynes further explores the soul-tinged indie pop aesthetic for which he has garnered much critical acclaim.
In a press release, Hynes stated that the album concerns his life, his upbringing, and being black in England and America.
The album is available on Spotify, iTunes, Google Play, Deezer, and Tidal. A deluxe vinyl package of Freetown Sound can be preordered through Domino Recording Company’s website. This edition includes the 2015 protest tracks ‘Sandra’s Smile’ and ‘Do You See My Skin Through The Flames?’; the latter track can be heard below.
