The February 7 entertainment is looking as inviting as the game itself
Super Bowl 47 halftime performer Beyonce has been added to the line-up for this year's event, the landmark Super Bowl 50.
Coldplay had already been announced as part of the spectacular concert in the City of Santa Clara, California - and now the full offering is beginning to take shape.
Of course, the two acts recently collaborated on the track 'Hymn for the Weekend', from Coldplay's latest album A Head Full Of Dreams.
Beyonce's last appearance at the Superbowl was in 2013, when she was joined on stage by her former Destiny's Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.
As for who else might appear at the show, speculation is rife. NFL spokesman, Brian McCarthy, said via email, “We have said there will be multiple artists in the show. We have announced Coldplay so far. We are not commenting on any of the stars that have been linked to the Pepsi halftime show including Rihanna, Maroon 5, Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Bruno, GnR, Adele, or Justin Timberlake.”

The NFL's halftime show is one of the most viewed sporting events in the world, regularly drawing a television audience of 1 Billion people.
The event has been headlined by acts such as The Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen, Diana Ross, Aerosmith, Paul McCartney, and U2.
However, in the past there has been controversy during certain performances. In 2004, Janet Jackson suffered a ‘wardrobe malfunction’ and during Madonna’s show in 2012, English artist M.I.A., stuck her middle finger towards the camera - a gesture that prompted the NFL to file a lawsuit against the singer.
