Badly Drawn Boy to play new Dublin venue
You can catch him in The Bowery before Christmas.
New Rathmines venue, The Bowery, has scored a bit of a coup by bringing Badly Drawn Boy in on December 18 for his first Dublin show in almost a decade.
The winner way back in 2000 of the Mercury Music Prize with The House Of The Bewilderbeast, Mr. Gough answers the question, “What would Bruce Springsteen sound like if he’d grown up in Dunstable rather than New Jersey?”
Tickets priced €22.90 go on sale on Friday October 21.
Opening over the Halloween Bank Holiday Weekend, The Bowery has a piratical theme and its own craft rum aged on the premises in smoked barrels. We reckon we’re going to get along just fine!
