Ahead of their Late Late Show special tonight, Aslan have confirmed to Hot Press that they will play the outdoor venue on Saturday, 21 July.
The gig will be part of the band's celebrations to mark the 30th anniversary of their debut album, 'Feel No Shame'.
Speaking to Hot Press, the band's frontman Christy Dignam told us: "We had an amazing day last year at The Iveagh Gardens. We can't wait to do it again and let everyone hear songs from 'Feel No Shame.'"
The special guests are up and coming young band, The Valves who impressed a lot of people when they supported Aslan at Vicar Street.
Speaking to Hot Press, Billy McGuinness pointed out, "The songs from 'Feel No Shame' have stood the test of time and lyrically are just as relevant today as when they were written back in the '80s."
As we exclusively revealed this morning, Christy will perform his new single, a duet cover version recorded of Queen and Bowie's 'Under Pressure' with his daughter Kiera, on The Late Late Show tonight.
2018 is a gearing up to be an exciting year for Aslan. With sold out shows coming up in the Cork Opera House on 24 Feb (an extra date has been added on 23 Feb) and they've a sold out show at the Olympia Theatre on 18 March.
Tickets for the Iveagh Gardens gig go on sale on Saturday, 20 February at 9 o clock available from Ticketmaster.
Last year Aslan played at the Iveagh Gardens and the gig was sold out, so early purchase of tickets is advised.
