Under the banner Home Athlone, a number of artists have banded together to raise funds for the victims of flooding in the Athlone area with a special gig on Monday, December 21, at Scribes Bar in Athlone IT.
The show will run from 8.30pm to midnight. Tickets at €15 are available from Music World Athlone in Golden Island, and Athlone IT. The organisers say that 100% of proceeds will go to the people who need it most, determined by volunteer groups who have been working around the clock in the affected areas of Athlone.
The Home Athlone line-up includes:
Eamon Keane (Newstalk)
The Dirty Blagards
Abie Philbin Bowman
Rob Ross (RTE)
