Old skool rockers head Dublin's way
Expect to rub leather jackets with Sam Snort as Vicar St. welcomes some of the biggest names in rawk.
First out of the traps on May 31 is Alice Cooper who’s bringing his full theatrical show with him. Still in remarkably good shape for a chap of 58, he’ll be dusting down such classics as ‘School’s Out’, ‘Elected’, ‘Hello Hooray’ and ‘Billion Dollar Babies’.
There’s no let-up the following night as Ted Nugent gives ‘Cat Scratch Fever’, ‘Gonzo’, ‘Wang Dang Sweet Poontang’ et al the same ‘amps on 11’ treatment.
On June 4 it’s the turn of Dweezil Zappa who, with the not inconsiderable help of Steve Vai, will be staging a multimedia tribute to his dad Frank.
