'Stand-Up For Humanity!' will find the likes of our own Adrienne Murphy performing comedy routines in Whelan's for The Caoimh Connolly Trust.
Activists from around the country will be creating humour for a good cause in Whelan's next Monday, March 24.
Donning stand-up hats for the first time ever, these activists – including Hot Press scribe Adrienne Murphy – may be comedy first-timers, but they're not going in completely unprepared. They'll have spent the weekend being trained for stand-up by comedian, Aidan Killian, and spoken-word guru, Dave Rock.
Join these brave trainee laughter generators as they put their egos on the line to speak their truths through humour. It should be a night of passion, hopefully laughter and all for a very good cause.
The event host is Aidan Killian, and all proceeds will go to The Caoimh Connolly Trust.
It’s a night for the good of humanity!
It’s Monday March 24, in Whelan's, from 8pm. Tickets are €7 on the door.
